Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Revanta (“Revanta”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal data when you visit our website, create an account, or use our loyalty and CRM-marketing platform and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Who we are
Revanta provides a software-as-a-service platform that helps retailers and other businesses (our “Clients”) operate loyalty programs, customer communications, and analytics. Depending on the context, Revanta acts either as a data controller (for data about our website visitors and account holders) or as a data processor (for end-customer data that our Clients upload and process through the Service).
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Account & contact data: name, work email, phone number, company name, job role, and login credentials.
- Demo & sales enquiries: details you submit through our demo request and contact forms.
- Billing data: billing contact, company address, tax identifiers, and payment-related information processed by our payment providers.
- Support communications: messages, attachments, and other content you send to our support and operations teams.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages and features used, actions taken, timestamps, and referring URLs.
- Device & log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and diagnostic logs.
- Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 9).
2.3 Client end-customer data
When our Clients use the Service, they may upload or generate data about their own customers (such as purchase history, loyalty balances, contact details, and segmentation attributes). Revanta processes this data on behalf of and under the instructions of the Client. The Client is the controller of that data and is responsible for its lawful collection and use.
3. How we use information
- To provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To create and administer accounts and authenticate users.
- To respond to enquiries, provide customer support, and send service-related communications.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To monitor performance, prevent fraud and abuse, and ensure security.
- To analyze usage and develop new features.
- To send marketing communications where permitted, which you can opt out of at any time.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
4. Legal bases for processing
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to deliver the Service), legitimate interests (to secure, improve, and market the Service in a proportionate way), consent (for certain cookies and marketing), and compliance with legal obligations.
5. How we share information
We do not sell personal data. We share information only as follows:
- Subprocessors and service providers who host infrastructure, process payments, deliver messages, or provide analytics on our behalf, under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
- Our Clients, where you interact with a loyalty program operated by them.
- Legal and safety disclosures required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, property, and safety.
- Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
6. International data transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or other legally recognized mechanisms.
7. Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Client end-customer data is retained according to the Client's instructions and our agreement with them, and is deleted or returned upon termination as described in that agreement.
8. Security
We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, network protections, and ongoing monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, measure performance, and improve the experience. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality.
10. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. If your data is processed by a Client through the Service, please direct your request to that Client; we will assist them as a processor.
11. Children's privacy
The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
